I’m impressed with the Photoshop CS3 Photomerge tool for stitching images (no, I haven’t tried PTGui) but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. I fell back on the manual method for this one and I’m much happier with the results - there’s a screenshot of the blending layers below the image - and don’t criticize my horrible layer naming practices!

It seems as though there are more Calla lillies around Seattle this year but it certainly hasn’t been easier to find blooms that have not been crinkled or partially eaten. There is a community garden (called a P-Patch) near my apartment where at least a few of the gardeners have made room for these luminous residents.
