Lance Keimig of The Night Skye has curated an exhibit of contemporary night photography which will be on display at the Three Columns Gallery at Harvard University beginning March 18. The reception is March 19 and at least a few of the photographers will be there - I am working on it but nothing definite yet. So if you’re in the area be sure to stop by.

I usually spend some time at Lake Tahoe over the holidays and most of the time I miss the “good” weather I’m always hoping for. This year is no exception. We maybe had an inch of snow or so during the week I was there…but this weekend they’re measuring in feet!

This is a 10 minute exposure at ISO 200, facing south from Cedar Flat. The lights are from South Lake Tahoe.

It was 3 degrees F at the time and not even 5 layers of clothes were doing the job.

Just got back from a weekend trip to the Washington coast…the seagulls were very entertaining. Check out my flickr site for images of a brave soul feeding the seagulls from her hand.
